A NORWEGIAN ADVENTURE WITH ASOLO & BLACK MOUNTAIN
In late September, ASOLO – in collaboration with its Norwegian distributor Black Mountain – hosted a dedicated sales meeting and outdoor experience amid the stunning landscapes of Norway.
Three leading brands (ASOLO, NEMO, and Darn & Tough), the Black Mountain team and 20 Norwegian retailers gathered in Loen, a picturesque village nestled in the inner Nordfjord, Western Norway.
Connection, Insight & Outdoor Spirit: The first day opened with a meeting welcomed and moderated by Rune Andersson from Black Mountain. Luca Zanatta, CEO of ASOLO, shared the company’s story, values, and a curated selection of products. Darn Tough – the renowned Vermont-based producer of technical hiking socks – and NEMO Equipment, a specialist in premium outdoor and camping gear, followed with their brand presentations. The session continued with Sales Q&A and valuable networking opportunities among retailers and brands.
On the Trail: Field Testing in the Heart of Nature - The next morning, each participant received a special kit, including Darn Tough socks, a NEMO water bottle, and a pair of ASOLO Falcon EVO NBK GV boots - ready to be tested in real conditions. With boots laced up, the group set off into the forest, reaching Rakssetra – an abandoned mountain pasture and a remarkable example of traditional Norwegian farming, recognized as UNESCO heritage. The hike continued toward Mount Hoven, where lunch was enjoyed with a breath-taking panoramic view over the fjord.
