“My mountaineering passion started right after I left a competition as an athlete of downhill skiing; I started climbing and immediately I become a big fun of that activity. At the age of 30, I have a dream to get myself on the cover page of a climbing magazine and I do strongly believe that one day this dream will come true.
I was lucky because my father was a climber and he became my climbing instructor. He taught me every single step for know how to climb and we often participated at indoor climbing competition as well as outside.
I’ve never leaved in a big city like Tokyo or Osaka, but I leave in a country side which great outdoor fields are always by my side; for this when I’m climbing I prefer to feel the vibration of Mother Nature in every type of climate condition, whether it’s raining, windy, or even snowing. I have just one rule while I’m climbing, to maintain the great nature as it is and show my respect to her.
The best memory that I have is the discovery of a new way, a new style of climbing. In fact, I used to climb “clean” route for riding any unstable rocks, but recently, I recognize that I feel more satisfaction when I climb natural route even if there are unstable rocks”.
